Continental Global Learning Weeks 2022
Use Case
Small steps. Big Impact.
This was the slogan of our project: the Continental Global Learning Weeks 2022.
The initial point were newly defined Learning Strategy and Continental’s Key Statements on Learning.
That is how the idea of the Global Learning Weeks was born: Addressing all employees, anchor the concepts in the mindset, providing ready-to-use tools, frameworks, tips and tricks to take ownership of own learning & development and develop an initiative for the individual learner and for his/her benefits.
10 WEEKS with Impulses, Call to Actions, Activity Phases & Reviews
“I learned to incorporate 5 to 10 min learning time into my working hours every day, and trying my best to make it happen daily.”
During the Continental Global Learning Weeks the community “Learning Atlas” increased 13 times and many people shared their learning journey throughout the weeks.
“Learning is an essential ingredient to success, and you have shown us in small steps how the elephant can / could be digested.”
What we take away from this is a great demand for learning, or rather learning within the framework of daily work and an interest in setting learning goals that help to develop oneself and make one's work better.
Follow-up questions might be:
How can learning become a more relevant and especially popular topic within the organization?
How do we reach even more people and ensure that employees have positive learning experiences and thus stay motivated?
How can we support in order for employees to implement more reflection moments into work to recognize learning experiences?
How can we support in order for employees to develop learning routines in their daily work?
How can we adapt or expand the Kaizala App for room of learning experiences?
How can we adapt processes like Onboarding, Weeklies, Employer conversations, Events?
How can we reach specific groups e.g. Trainees or Blue Collar Workers even better?
The Continental Global Learning Weeks will not be a closing point, but a starting point to make learning more of a topic and especially live it as part of work.
Last but not least: the Retro Video to get an idea of what the weeks looked like! Here you go:
“It was an inspirational learning journey, and I am really looking forward to further learning activities.”
